Ferrari Ends Toyota's Le Mans Winning Streak

Ferrari has ended Toyota's four-year winning streak at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the Italian marque taking the top spot in the 90th edition of the endurance race. The race was a close-fought affair, with Ferrari's Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Fuoco crossing the line just 121793 seconds ahead of Toyota's Sebastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima, and Brendon Hartley.
Toyota Dominates Early Stages
Toyota had dominated the early stages of the race, with their TS050 Hybrids setting the pace and leading for much of the first half of the 24-hour event. However, Ferrari began to close the gap in the second half of the race, with their 488 GTE Evo setting consistently faster lap times.
Ferrari Strikes in the Night
Ferrari's challenge was aided by a series of safety car periods during the night, which allowed them to close the gap and put pressure on Toyota. With just over an hour remaining in the race, Ferrari took the lead for the first time, and they held on to secure the victory.
