Born on April 13, 1996, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Edmonds began his football journey at Bishop McDevitt High School. As a standout player, he showcased his exceptional speed, agility, and ball-carrying abilities. His impressive high school performance earned him a scholarship to Fordham University, where he continued to shine.

In college, Edmonds became a force to be reckoned with. He led the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in rushing yards in 2017, showcasing his immense talent and potential. His outstanding contributions on the field earned him recognition as a two-time FCS All-American and the FCS Running Back of the Year.

After graduating from Fordham, Edmonds entered the 2018 NFL Draft. The Arizona Cardinals selected him in the fourth round, providing him with an opportunity to showcase his skills on a larger stage.
